I’m Deborah Langford, the founder and cruise travel advisor at Opulent Cruises. With a diverse background in the travel industry, I have accumulated 23 years of valuable experience working as a travel advisor, tour operator, sales representative for luxury resorts, working onboard ultra luxury cruise ships and recruited for luxury cruise ships. My passion for luxury cruising blossomed during my 14 years of service onboard prestigious ships such as Crystal, Seabourn, Scenic Eclipse, Abercrombie& Kent with chartering Ponant.

I started working onboard luxury cruise ships at the age of 24 as a stewardess for Crystal Cruises. I then moved over to Seabourn where I started work as a stewardess, then guests services and finally spent most of my carreer with Seabourn as the onboard future cruise consultant. I was forunate enough to experienc the Pride, Spirit & Legend, be apart of the start-up of the Quest as well as being apart of the team that assisted with the Quest becoming an ice-class vessel and working on many refurbishments, my final contract with Seabourn included starting up the Ovation in 2021 in Greece as one of the first cruise ships to sail after Covid. I got married in 2021 which required me to transition away from life at sea, I was fortunate to continue my passion by working onboard Scenice Eclipse in Saudi Arabia in starting up and implemeting the onboard future cruise sales role for Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Ships. After Scenic, I forunatley found a job that offered shorter contracts with Abercrombie & Kent, working as a Cruise Co-ordinator, Tour Manager & Shorex Manager onboard their chartered A&K cruises using Ponant ships. This opportunity allows me to remain engaged in the luxury cruising field as well as travelling & exploring familiar & new destinations accross the globe.
